EVERYTHING IN ITS RIGHT PLACE
I find that I do my best work at my art desk in my studio. I know this because I ventured out not too long ago and took my paints, pens, and papers with me. I had big plans to get inspired in a different location and create new awesome stuff.
While I did do some stuff I was proud of, I found it to be way more stressful than it was worth. I didn’t have my normal setup. I kept dropping things. I didn’t have a great surface. I had to improvise. All of that extra noise was too time consuming. And of course, once I got it all set up, it was time to go.
Maybe I’ll get better at being mobile. Maybe that’s the next thing I could pour money into. A mobile setup I could just keep packed away, ready to go. Duplicates of my go-to’s.
Eh. Right now I’d rather save up for one of them fancy laser cutters.
